Mars hopes to share his poetic take on life and love with a skill he has been honing for over a decade now.

Performing since 2011, Meusel led one of the Cedar Valley’s favorite cover bands “Good Cop/Rad Cop” until 2014. In 2014, he co-founded “Starboard Recordings” an Iowa based recording label. 5:00 pm – Dan Tedesco

Dan Tedesco is the quintessential modern-day troubadour, narrating the American experience in song honestly and intimately, and with a big sound to boot. A solo artist, Tedesco’s stage show is framed by a minimalist production that finds him belting out folk-spiced rockers from behind both acoustic and electric guitars while foot-stomping percussion rounds out many of the arrangements. Inspired by the likes of The Beatles, Bob Dylan, James Taylor, Bruce Springsteen, and Van Halen, his original music has captured the attention of venues nationwide; he’s currently touring in the pacific northwest. The Nadas, Iowa’s signature alt-rock-country band, fronted by founding members Mike Butterworth (vocals, guitar) and Jason Walsmith (vocals, guitar) who have deftly handled co-lead and co-writing roles since forming in 1993, are superbly backed by Neil Stoffregen (keys), Brandon Stone (percussion) and Brian Duffey (horns and bass). 9:30 pm – The Pork Tornadoes

“The Nation’s Greatest Party Band!” – Rolling Stone

The Pork Tornadoes are a powerful party band that have played all around the Midwest at the best bars, clubs and festivals. Having played more than 300+ shows in the last 5 years, this band has perfected their live show into an experience you won’t find anywhere else. With more than 15 years of musical experience per member, the musical talent is off the charts, led by singer Mason Greve who was one of 100 finalists on NBC’s The Voice in 2014. Playing an eclectic mix of songs from Justin Timberlake, Maroon 5, Katy Perry and Taylor Swift to Kings of Leon, AC/DC, The Killers and Gavin Degraw, they are truly one of the most versatile bands in the region.

This band is a force like no other. Creating a party wherever they go. Followed by a ravenous fan base. Every song will leave you singing along and begging for more.  Their live show does the talking for them, as well as their signature taglines “Your Girlfriend’s Favorite Band” and “BeardPop”. The shroud of mystery surrounding the band, the terribly-poor choice in band name, and the head-scratching, enormous amount of video views and fans on every social media website are enough to bring curious music lovers out to a show to “see what all the fuss is about.” That is all it takes. Like a predator luring in its prey, once a person walks into a Pork Tornadoes show, they are instantly assaulted by incredible musicianship, dizzying diversity of genres/songs, friendship/comradery/love and an unexplainable urge to sing until your throat can’t take it anymore.
